Zywiec Polish Porter. Quite a strong one at 9.5% . Unfortunatly this was not really my cup of tea. I found it unpleasantly sweet with a horrid metalic aftertaste. The taste improved some after eating some peanuts, but even now there is a metalic taste to my mouth. Definatly something I will avoid.

Belzebuth A super strong French brew someone on this forum once recommended. At 13% I think this is the strongest beers I have tried so far. I was very pleased with the taste, it was light and the liquid went down very silky. Most other high alc. beers (at least ones I've tried) had been dark and heavy, Belzebuth on the other hand is a blond ale and is almost sweet. I am not sure where you would be able to find it, I know it is available in florida and GA , but I recommend trying it if you get a chance. Murphy's Irish Stout this was my second beer of the evening this time off the tap, and may I say it was delicious. I don't know if it was because of having the Belzebuth before, but I found the Murphy's to have a very neutral almost too mellow flavor. I can most liken it to a cappucino. The more I drank from my cup the more I found interesting flavors that I why I enjoyed it so, it is a very complex, yet decevingly simple flavor that as I sad was not at all strong. A good brew to drink by the pint on a mild evening, plus you will look classy with a nice glass of this heady light brown beer, now all you need is a tweed jacket, a pipe, and a hat to feel properly Irish gentleman. I am not one 100% sure if I got the name right Dreadfull Bitters This was a limited time stock at the bar and just sounded like the perfect finisher to my drinking evening. As the name would indicate this was a english bitter stype beer with a strong hops overtone. A very good pallet cleaner. I was really happy with my choises for the evening, and I was happy I found out about this place, and am looking forward to going back, hopefully in a group, but if I'm in the area I might just stop by, by myself.

I have numerous quick reviews today. Lately I've been in a british beer mood, unfortunatly a number of them only come in cans here, getting a new lable is half the fun. Anywho, I tried a four pack of Tetleys. I found it to be very much like, Boddingtons or Wexford, lightly carbonated and really creamy and frothy. Though in this hot ass FL weather the cool creamyness is a definate plus. I would have to have a pint to pint comparison but from memory I would say that Tetleys is a little bit lighter in flavor and body that Boddingtons and Wexford.
Next up Atwater Block Brewery's Vanilla Java Porter, from Detroit. While I'm not going to say that the flavor is bad it is not that I agree with. I'm not tottaly able to put my finger on what it is I don't like in the flavors, but I would liken it to cold, strong, maybe burnt coffee bean with a manmade vanilla flavor. Definetly not something I would by again.

I tried the Jose Cuervo the other night. Wasn't bad- It maybe something I will drink again. I am not sure why people use salt and lime- it tastes ok by itself??

Jager is tasty I have heard that tequila is either a friend or a foe- not anything in between, but I haven't drank enough to find out yet.

Sam Adams' Cherry Wheat. I am usually not to big a fan of flavored wheat beers because the fruit flavoring creates an odd sweetness to the beer. Sam's however, is much more subdued, yet still plenty noticable, it is more of a hint than a flavor, mixed with a crisp wheat overtunes. This beer doesn't have that cirtrusy flavor that I enjoy in wheat beers, but is a good alternative if you feel like having something a little different for a summer night.
