Our snockered discussion (that's snookered in Spook-speak) has made me to wonder what everyone's favourite fuel for inebriation was?
I'll start....
If I have to go with beer, it's Harps, Kirin Ichiban, Bass, or Newcastle
If wine, I tend to like Pinot Grigio & Cabernet (Gabbiano and Ramspeck are ones I appreciate, respectively)
If liquor (my preference), Bourbon, neat (sometimes whisky, also neat) or Crown & Coke. In a pinch where there's no brown liquor, I'll take vodka.
What I drink depends on my mood - beer if upbeat (rare), wine if more high-brow feeling (fairly regularly), liquor if I'm unhappy or depressed (most typical). I don't know what I would drink in social situations since I usually don't get to go to any. Next lush, please take the mike?

Since an incident about 2 years ago, I've yet to view Jager in the same light that I used to...

Jager is the alcoholics valiuum... I still feel nausea when I think of it. Give me my bourbon and life is good.

Since an incident about 2 years ago, I've yet to view Jager in the same light that I used to... Jager used to be my favorite, but I've gotten sick one too many times, and my body won't let me do it anymore. Well, I can if I chase it with Coke, but its a struggle. Same thing with vodka(it gave me the closest thing to alcohol poisoning I ever had), and Kaluah. And various cheap wino-type wines. As far as anything else, I'm not that picky(it all gets me drunk), but the darker the better. I used to drink Killian's a lot cuz it was cheap, but Sam Adams Cream Stout is my new choice. And a lot of German beers that I can't recall the name - they're all good! (Oh, and I kinda like warm beer - better ship me off to England!)

Havent you ever heard the expression"Time to warm the babys bottle?" After all, whats wrong with it going in the same temperature as it comes out? Ok Ok Just being my usual smart-ass self..sorry ,its a compulsion..i am receiving therapy for this BTW ;D Anyway..i agree with Atari dark beers are great and theres nothing wrong with the british room temp ale..if avaible in your area..try Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout and Russian Imperial Stout..Dark and Beautiful..American wise..Anchor Porter, and a company from california..Northcoast Brewing has two Excellent dark beers..Old # 38..a dark roasted malt sorta like a rich coffee... and if you can take the alcohol content "14%" they have OLD RASPUTIN..this beer will kick your ass and then tuck you into bed with a sweet goodnight kiss..also kudos to Victory Brewing from Downington,Penn. Old Horizontal and Storm King Stout..You'll never drink corporate, mass produced donkey piss again ie Bud,Coors,Miller etc..after giving some micro brews a chance.

I don't ever drink that crap; I can drink toilet water for free And i thought they used Rocky Mountain Spring Water..actually the Coors we drink on the east coast is contract brewed in Virginia..and Fosters "Australian for beer, mate" is brewed in Canada...Budweiser is brewed with a major percentage of rice and corn..why spend money on barley when cheap adjuncts can satisfy the cattle...Buying the products of the "Big Three" is just putting money into the pockets of the corporate greed machine which,in turn uses said money to buy political influence in the "Big Two"...Support Micro-Brewed beers and actually get what you pay for..Toilet water..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..Adolphus Busch is pissing..i mean..spinning in his grave !

As far as beer goes for me, and it rarely does, I reach for the smooth never watered down taste of a Michelob Amber Bock, but when it comes to the real stuff I pour brandy and Dr. Pepper, Biccardi Limon flavored rum and Coke (I used to be a big diet coke with lemon fan), and yes if I just wanna get shizen faced put a bottle of Jager on the table and I'll go to town:p
