Since there is a thread for B-movies, I thought it would be nice to have one for non-B-movies. I'll list some of my favorites to start out:
The Godfather I + II (maybe be my all time favorites) Lawrence of Arabia Metropolis Saving Private Ryan Taxi Driver Apocalypse Now Dr. Strangelove Lord of the Rings Star Wars Blade Runner The Last Temptation of Christ

Hmmm...
Godfather I, The King of Hearts, Brazil, My Neighbor Totoro, Metropolis, Phantom of the Opera (1925), White Zombie (1933), City of Lost Children, Man Bites Dog, Joe's Apartment. I'd ahve to think a bit to come up with a more thorough list, but that gives the idea...

No offense, McBeefBreath, but I absolutely hate Kevin Smith and every movie he's made. Absolute shite.
However, I love Transformers, hehe
And Office Space, because it pretty much describes my working day.

As for Office Space I also relate highly to this movie as I work in an office very similar to Peter's. Rather frightening in most respects as our fax machines never ever work, all the printers always jam up, our "CEO" is an arrogant bubblehead, I have 4 different bosses to include the "CEO", My parking space is down by the dumpster, my desk is right beside the (s)witchboard complete with an obese young lady who dresses like some kind of beauty queen who answers the phone about 1K times a day with "Surgical 'Sociates thi is Say-ruh" Sometimes I just wish our squirrelly anxiety ridden transcriptionist would just come in some day and set the building on fire

Today would have been the eighty-foruth birthday of Godfather creator Mario Puzo Did you know he and Francis Ford Coppolla were working on a new godfather movie about the early life of Michael, Fredo, and Sonny? It was scrapped when he died. I'm kinda glad it was never made.

Do you not like the Godfather part II? Can't say whether I like it or not since I haven't seen it. I've only seen part I.

Can't say whether I like it or not since I haven't seen it. I've only seen part I. Holy flaming crap crustaceans! If you like the first one you should definitely see part II. It really completes the story, and its much darker and twisted than the first. You can safely avoid part III though.

Holy flaming crap crustaceans! So are these holy crustaceans made of flaming crap? Or crustaceans made of holy flaming crap? Or are only the flames holy?

Fav movies:
La Haine LOR Trio Princess Mononoke Saving Ryan's Privates Unforgiven My Neighbour Totoro Asterix (the animated movies) Tampopo Szafi
That's all I can think of right now
I also have not seen any of the godfather movies in compleet/non-tv censored version. Sad I know.
