Ads aren't such a big deal to me, as Spook commented they're often amusing, however i'm impartial as to whether they go or stay. I have no problem feeding shineys to this toy i make so much use of, 'specially if it made it do more stuff.

From what I have gathered so far (excluding Beefy's response, since it isn't posted yet), The biggest thing people want to see is more action with the galleries if we go ad-free. True? Or is there more that is desired? Any other sections of the site seem atrophied to anyone? The increase in space will certainly be more incentive for me to work more regularly on our galleries.

Ok... I'm going to try my post again here.. I was commenting that I am happy that the Board is back up and running. I am still finding some changes here and there, but help would be appreciated. If you spot anything, please add them here. I'm not so much interested in aesthetic changes, but functional changes. Here's a few things I have noted, but this is not complete...
If a thread is off topic, it is now easier for me to put it where it belongs.
That feature, plus others, leave the Board better equipped to deal with a larger member pool if we grow as a community.
It appears you will need to reload some of your avatars.
There is now a Karma function. Not much point right now since we're such a small group, but let us continually smite Darth Panties once we get him in here. We can find out just how much smiting this thing can do.
The calendar is more accessable to all. I've always noted birthdays and user anniversaries (provided I know them) (BTW, Happy Belated BDay, ATARI!!!) but now everyone can add stuff. I love silly holidays and greatly encourage them.
I am no longer simply Thine Loving Forum Deity; new functions now allow me to be Thine Loving All-Powerful Forum Deity. Scary, no?
The Board looks a little busy for my tastes - clean-up and further personalization will hopefully come soon.
Anything else of note, please add here.
Thanx

space for new galleries is still the only thing that comes to mind at this point. I believe you mentioned cycling of galleries as well at one point, not a bad idea to have a periodic refreshening of neet stuuf to look at.

I'm still throwing the idea around, though I do want to go for it.

So it's a question of sit on it..or rotate? That's up to you guys. Would you rather have access to everything at anytime, or a rotation so you don't see the same thing all the time?

YEAH !!! Rotate..like Linda Blairs head !!! YOWZA !!! So rotate it is. Thanks for the concise votes, and for more than one person expressing said vote. Much appreciated! This isn't quite the are for it, so I'll post details in "Coming Soon...", but I am talking to an artist now to set up a new gallery on The Hall. She does excellent inkwork.
